This range of courses are designed by the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training who are a registered provider on the CPD Certification Service.
City & Guilds Accredited courses (one-day)
A City and Guilds level 4 qualification in Understanding Suicide Interventions is available to anyone who completes a one-day course at an additional cost, currently £93.50 per learner.

This was an excellent course - pitched appropriately for those with some knowledge but potentially limited experience. Although some of the subject matter was challenging and at times uncomfortable, the delivery from both the tutors had just the right level of levity without being insensitive. I feel much better prepared and more confident to provide suicide first aid in my wso outside of school.
The training was packed with useful and practical information. I appreciated the structure and the professional manner in which it was presented. I felt safe in the training, even though I had felt slightly anxious about attending the session. Although I have previous experience working with those dealing with suicide, it's not one of my favourite topics to talk about, however, during and after the training, it feels more comfortable to engage with it.
